Car sketch by Ernest in Cardesign

This time is a sketch by Ernest Tsarukyan that makes the post here and the reason is simple: it is well done and mostly the used technique.
Pencil (very sharp) or pen (a Bic would be ok) the crossing line technique when well done gives a great effect, the sketch is perfect for portfolio sketch book.

Hey guys try to copy it...

Vincent Vellum paper color sketch

Yes! Vincent Vellum paper made of pure cotton with a speciphic technique which consisted in working both sides. With markers and color chalks and naturally baby powder to smoothen the transition effect (like airbrush), the final touchs with white pencil and higlights made of white guache.
Great memories back in school.

BMW supercar proposal by Giulio Partisani

Click for larger image

Giulio Partisani is an ex student of IED Torino Design school in Italy and a professional designer, I liked a lot his illustration and proposal for this BMW Supercar. Very dramatic prospective (very low point of view and slightly tilted angle of image), cool color choice very cold with high contrast, great focal point (we can really read this composition), no prospective mistakes and naturally an interesting creative design not too advanced and not traditional, good balance. Last important note is the depth given by the prospective but mostly by the color application.

Car design rendering by Hussein Al Attar

Hussein Al Attar is a student of Transportation Design at Pforzheim University of Applied Science currently 5th term, a part of his portfolio and skills is visible at Cardesignnews web site at the portfolio session. Hussein has also a page on DeviantArt.
Hussein is a talented student his car sketches are really good, he prefers to use a monochromatic technique with hard and soft black pencil, no backgrounds just his cars drawing in very exciting perspectives.
The rendering here published is an example of how he can go from extreme simplicity to a very flashy digital rendering. The illustration is well done with good perspective and dramatic color choice, high contrast and good control of warm and cool color zone with precise focal point.

I invite you to check his on line portfolio at Cardesignnews to appreciate his skills has source of ispiration.
